Since the inception of the Spartans, David has led the club off the ice as the team’s General Manager. He has recruited and built some outstanding teams during his tenure. Which have resulted in a 2015-2016 North Division Playoff Title, 2017-2018 Regular Season Title and a 2017-2018 Russell Cup Championship.
Another major accomplishment has been the 50 plus players that David and the Spartans program have assisted in advancing to major junior, college, and professional teams. On average 7 players per season advance from the Spartans program to higher level hockey, which is one of the highest advancement rates in Canada. A major thing that separates the Spartans from many other junior programs is the effort put in by the club’s staff to advance players to a higher level.
